Saving Lummi heritage

The purpose of this project was to provide an educational environment for Lummi natives to learn more about their rich cultural heritage.

The building includes interactive classrooms for cooking, basket weaving, and language. This space has boosted civic pride and brought cultural awareness to the Lummi tribe. Natural light and air flows throughout the building with operable clerestory windows.
